Being a nurse is about more than administering medicine; it takes hard work, clinical competence, dedication, self-sacrifice and patience. It takes an open mind and being aware of different cultures, beliefs, ages and attitudes. We are always in awe of our magnificent nurses with patient-centred care, professionalism, teamwork, compassion, and kindness at the core of their role everyday.
